V9 shuffling GPU’s
I have these cards in my Win7/64 system:
Quadro 4000 (GUI)
2x GTX 580’s (Render)
Red RocketResolve 8 would use the Quadro as GUI and show 2 GPU’s for render. After installing v9 Resolve is using a GTX 580 for GUI, Quadro 4000 for render and not using the other at all (on the ‘about’ screen it shows 1-GPU).
When going into the System Overview the cards are listed as:
Video Card 1: Geforce GTX 580 – GUI Only
Video Card 2: Quadro 4000
Video Card 3: Geforce GTX 580I know v9 is just out but any idea how to get the video cards configured the way they were in V8?

Which card is your monitor connected to? The GUI card should follow whichever card your GUI is on. No monitors should be connected to the other cards.

The monitors are connected to the Quadro card. Nothing is connected to the GTX’s.
I have ScratchLAB running on this system and it sees the Quadro card and primary GPU (it doesn’t support multi GPU’s).

Hi Paul, in this folder is an app, Capture Logs.
C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve
Can you power down and restart the machine and Resolve, check the system info is still describing the GPU config as above and if so, run the Capture Logs, so it can make a log to the desktop.
