The sweet spot on the F55 is definitely slightly over exposed. I’d say a half stop over is where you want to be. In that sense it’s very much like film.

Rohit will correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe you want to/can use gpus in a Maximus config in resolve. Just as you don’t want to use SLI.

Lite is limited to HD resolutions. Full is not. The cause of your crashes and the error is that you have a GPU with too little memory. It probably wasn’t an issue in lite because you were working in HD only.
It would behoove you to look at and follow the DaVinci Resolve config guide.

You can use after effects for example to render that alpha as a matte and then use it that way,
I believe Resolve 9.1 respects alpha channels in prores 4444 files for titles and the like.

The only thing this was a test of was the bandwidth, latency, drive speed and cpu speed. Not a demonstration of card performance at all.

Presently the best performing config for Mac would probably be 4 GTX680 4GBs in a Cubix. 690s are two slightly slower 680s sharing a card.
