If you’re going to avid, use some flavor of DNxHD.

Are you using the full resolve installation? You didn’t install lite perchance? Or maybe through the app store?

All of them. I’m running 10.8.4 currently with OS built in drivers. Latest cuda. And both Ressolve 9.1.5/6 and Resolve 10. I suspect your issue is a hardward one.

I have four Titans on 10.8 and Resolve sees all of them. Your problem is not an OS issue.

Consider Canon MXF is 4:2:2 sampled 8bit mpeg2… even if it’s ProRes 422 HQ (heck even regular 422) I don’t think there is an effective benefit.
