    It doesn’t require pcie 3.0. I’m thinking that real 4k performance will benefit from pcie 3.0 for the gpus.

    I suspect it would already work with v8.2. The xyz toggle is already there. Just waiting for the card to ship. Bigger issue is bus speed. Need pcie 3.0. New Mac pro or pc

    You need more gpu ram. Turns out you need at least 3gb of gpu ram to reliably do 4k. Though I’ve managed to do limited projects with 1.5gb.

    It is remarkably stable, using the approved configuration with full release versions. Specially if you work in HD 709… as opposed to red or 4k. The betas and experimental configurations can get you into trouble.

    Who ever did that did a ton of work. Basically just 3d camera moves with everything separated out and arranged in 3d layers separated by depth.
