One Titan card can handle the debayer portion of up to 5K. But the debayer is only half the battle. Decompression has to be handled too. For 5K you need a FAST 12 cores for premium.

No, Resolve does not have a camera solver.

Resolve’s tracker is really effective, because it’s tracking loose shapes using a point cloud. WHole other level of complexity in tracking for camera solution, or match moving. Much less forgiving.

Not worth the upgrade for you. Your box is 6, count em 6 years old. It’s single CPU. Save your pennies and get an 8core d700 nMP. If you want to stick with apple. But your bottleneck is not your gpu right now.
