If you can copy the m2ts files of the disc, you can work with these natively in premiere. Would say that would be best.

I agree, it’s one of the best, if not the best LCD. But it’s still definitely LCD.
Functionally it rocks. Broad format support, the menu is nuts.
But I’d take a Sony OLED over it any day. The BVM e&f both do 100% p3 as well.
And for the $, you could get 8 FSi 2461s which do about 92% of what the Dolby does.
If you’re grading p3 you need to be using projection regardless. As that is your destination medium and how you should be grading.
so, like I said… Dolby is nice, but I’m not that impressed. Big appeal is its shadow detail, any oled blows it out of the water there.

I believe the decklink 4k cards will allow xyz, though I don’t know if this will work on v8.2 or only in v9.
Have not been impressed with Dolby Ref monitor.

Before you do that. If you’re running lion you might want to boot into the recovery partition and run repair permission on your drive until you get an all clear. And then try installing.

Davinci will overwrite the file if the source has the same name.
Can you check ‘Use Prefix Sufix… from source” and also check “render each clip with unique file name”… I’m not at my system right now, so I can’t check, but I believe enabling both of those will result in the original file name plus a unique digit. Not ideal, but hopefully it’ll work.
If I’m wrong, hopefully someone will correct me. But you can at least try that in the mean time.

Can you try doing a target render instead of source. You need to switch off the FCP Export preset. Click on the Target radial. Select your codec and frame rate (make sure it’s actually 24p, not 23.976)… then render out with your desire settings.

At first I think you didn’t have grades, but now see you do. Are you trying to go back to fcp?
