when you say:
IF YOUR FILE NAME HAS A CHARACTER IN IT THEN IT WILL ALWAYS GET THE ERROR FOR RENDERING OR EXPORT.

do you mean numerical characters:
12345ect..

or Symbol Characters:
@$%^&*ect..

yes there was a slash in one of the containing folders names, knew it was going to be something simple anyway

EDIT:

so I have now managed to get all of the prores files imported into the project but when trying to bring in the sony F55 footage I am getting the error message:

Exception: std::exception, what:’Segmentation fault” in thread “MVP_Host_Processing”, At Address 0x0

Hi i have had a similar problem the audio recorded on my H4n zoom was on the wrong settings to sync with the 7d footage i recorded is there a way of batch resampling within soundtrack?

I am currently having the same issue although just updating to see if this solves the problem. i am very new at setting these up but it seem strange that i would get perfect playback when a sequence is sent to color but just the freeze frames in FCP. any help would be much appreciated.

i am using HDMI output to 1080p 24fps 8bit. however i have played around with the settings and it seems to occur no matter what settings i use for output.
