8.2 is the latest Decklink driver.
3.5.1 for the HDLink
For the HDLink firmware update. If you install a version of the driver on the computer anytime you connected it via USB it will check the firmware of the HDLink. If the version installed on the computer is newer than that of the HDLink it will attempt to update it. Once you update it, it shouldn’t prompt you again for that version.
It’s much the same with the Decklink Firmware, but the Decklink checks each time the computer is started.

So quick question.
Are you using Log and Transfer to capture them? That is are you transferring them from the camera’s memory, or are you using Log and Capture?
If you aren’t capturing them, it’d be worth a try. For tests sake try the 720p setting for ProRes (it’s simple and can be done on a single drive).
It sounds almost definitely like a setup issue and i’m sure we can get you through it. You can give us a call and we can walk you through it.

Ah…that problem is a framerate mismatch. Meaning that the video in the timeline is not matching the easy setup.
A couple of things I see here which could be contributing. It looks like you’ve modified the 720p60 preset to use the 10bit RGB codec. It’s not a preset we ship with the product (not saying that it won’t work, it could be an issue.
Also your using 720p30 and I guess it would depend on your actions when you imported the clip. When you import a clip it will tell you the clip doesn’t match the timeline and ask if you want to change it. It’s possible if you allow it to change the sequence preset that it could tweak something to make the output not work properly.
But if i’m not mistaken your issue is if you press play the timeline cursor will move and no image will update in the canvas. But when you stop the image will be shown.
So best way to test this is to try it out using one of the provided easy setups and a video clip that matches. (this would be a test).
I’ll find out about the RBG codec thing for sure, but i’m pretty sure that only works with 1080 and 2k formats.

I think that comment was Heinz’s personal preference. I believe what he is saying is that he’s happier with the results of de-interlacing the stream first and feeding 1080p30 into the Pro Recorder as apposed to letting the Pro Recorder do it.
So…either way will work. You can externally de-interlace it, or you can rely on the de-interlacing that the Pro Recorder can do.

Yeah…we are working on cleaning these kinda ambiguous notes up now. The problem is the 1.0 of the X58 chipsets did not work. Intel then changed it, so that most of the newer motherboard with the X58 chipsets will work fine.
So, typically if the motherboard is not one of the FIRST ever X58 chipsets it should work. Unfortunately they never really made an easy way to identify which is which.
Also there is further confusing because our USB 3.0 products actually very much love to be on X58 chipsets. Again we are working to make that more clear.

It is in fact a real product. It is also scheduled to ship this month. True the date did slip a bit, but it is definitely real.

Good question. On the 4K board I don’t think so. On the quad board it’s possible. The 4K board is basically one output and you can set it to be anything you want from SD to 4K. Where as the Decklink Quad board is like 4 independent I/O’s
