Are you shooting progressive or interlaced? It’s possible the interlaced footagemight have something to with it, although I dont think it would cause wavy lines

Nope I’m running them both fine, I’m still waiting for Magic Bullet to come out for AE7 so I still have 6.5 up.

I’m not too sure about the text crispness but to get a better contrast go to Edit>Prefs>Display and then you should be able to lower the darkness of the overall interface.

Try the plug-in Wave World, it’s included by Adobe when you register.

I use them to view different views (Active, Top etc.) in a 3D setup but I think you can view different comps in each one. You need to click inside the view you want to change and you’ll see a orangy line around the edges of the frame, then you can change the view or resolution etc.

It’s called volumetric lighting. Trapcode’s ‘Shine’ plug-in is what your looking for.

Hey,
I usually create them in Photoshop although you can create them in AE with solids. In Photoshop you need to create a whole bunch of yellow rectangles which go from the top of your page to the bottom. Then you apply the polar co-ordinates filter to get the star-burst effect.Josh
