Yep, I tried all that. The lacie was recently zeroed, formatted as Mac os extended (not journaled).
I downloaded all updates too. And just a few minutes ago I repaired disk permissions.

well no, but I checked that out already. I.e. the video before I captured straight to my internal drive. this time, to an external firewire 800 Lacie drive.
But I just tried shifting the project folder from scratch on Lacie to my internal, then reconnect everything to that. But it made no difference……
This has me stumped.

sorry i just noticed same problem posted just below me, but uninstalling and reinstalling is not really an option for me right now. Why the hell did it just suddenly decide to erase all presets?
I didnt do anything since last time I booted it up and the presets were all there.

I went away for a while, came back and autorender had been complete. Now the clips play fine.
Is there some kind of special render needed to fix this that im not aware of?
I tried all the different kinds of render…. Render preview, render complete, render needs render etc. etc. But only autorender seemed to fix it.??

Hi David,
thanks yeah i tried this before. In the encoder tab I change it to 16:9.
But in the preview it still doesnt change to 16:9 when i click on the upper most right buttons.
What gives?
