  • Even rendered Fit to fill clips wont play properly

Posted by Josh Evans on May 26, 2008 at 11:03 am

I have a few clips in my sequence which I have sped up about 2000% by using fit to fill.

I rendered them, and they now have a dark grey bar above them, and when I play my timeline, I get spinning wheel of death when it comes to these clips.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks alot.

I went away for a while, came back and autorender had been complete. Now the clips play fine.

Is there some kind of special render needed to fix this that im not aware of?

I tried all the different kinds of render…. Render preview, render complete, render needs render etc. etc. But only autorender seemed to fix it.??

You need to check every line item under your render options.

A good way to learn the FCP interface is to read the manual. That is under Help. Your render selections are located very close to the help menu item.
