    Thanks.

Ok if its advanced i might get someones help because im only just entering the beginner intermediate stage of motion 3.

  • Yeah that helps a great deal thanks so much!

Also, we only want yellow notes for now.

    Thanks again.

  • Oh ok, that makes sense now. I couldnt work it out before, seemed to be totally illogical that they acted differently within the same software.

    Thanks for that,

    Cheers,

    J.

Hi yes, thanks very much that is what i meant. Yeah, technical terms are not exactly my strong point when using this graphikey-animation-type thingamajig program.

No not disappearing, but finishing. Say if I am masking around a person, I will start at the top of the head, then get to the feet and try and zoom, the mask will just finish and connect from the feet to the head.

That seemed to work but then now it doesnt.

For some reason, when i shorten the end or beginning of a clip, the whole thing jumps around. Not in the timeline, because it stays put there, what i mean is all the frames within the clip jump, as if i am doing a Timeslip, when in fact all i want to do is trim the beginning or end off. Whats going on?

hmmm ok that makes a lot of sense.

So I should shoot it, then duplicate the layer, and animate a mask around the liquid, then enhance the liquid like give it a glow or something?

Thanks for the idea!, its logical but i just had no idea.

    Cheers

April 8, 2009 at 2:36 am in reply to: Why cant I animate emitters?

    Thanks,

yes i tried this. It still doesnt work how i want it to.

Its like there is some sort of dynamic value added to the emitter, so that when it is being moved in a certain direction, it will react to that.

i.e. if I move a fire emitter to the right, then the flames will blow and bend to the left like a real flame would. SUrely there must be some way to turn this off?

    Thanks.
