  • Why cant I animate emitters?

When I try to animate a particle emitter, I cant simply move it accross the screen. SOme part of it always insists on staying where the first keyframe was made, so instead of migrating accross the screen to the next location keyframe, it stretches to it whilst keeping one part still attached to the first keyframe…. what the hell?

Throw it in a group and animate the group.

    Thanks,

yes i tried this. It still doesnt work how i want it to.

Its like there is some sort of dynamic value added to the emitter, so that when it is being moved in a certain direction, it will react to that.

i.e. if I move a fire emitter to the right, then the flames will blow and bend to the left like a real flame would. SUrely there must be some way to turn this off?

    Thanks.
