Thanks Michael. I will try it that way. How would you export it from Avid to put it back into FCP? I have to finish sound and a few tweaks back in FCP since that is the system I have at home and it needs to be off the Avid. I would like to keep the best quality image possible. I know this is a lot of back and forth compression, but so goes the project.

Great thank you. I will try it with the Meridien Uncompressed codec. Do you think this will be better quality than the Animation codec at ‘best’ quality?

Yeah I am going to have to take the compression hit going both ways. Any ideas as to the best codec to go back from Avid to FCP? Animation again?
