    OK… let me back up…

I do not want to use Final Cut for this…. Compressor would be my first choice…

Or even better Quicktime pro, since I have already edited all the clips in FCP and they are QT movies.

Can QT Pro do a fade in fade out? Failing that how is it done in compressor?

    thanks for your patience!!

How do I do this in compressor?

Is it possible to do using just quicktime pro? Then I wouldnt have to render

    Thanks!!

How would I do that? And then how would I interpret it? Set my timeline to NONE?

Yeah… that’s the problem.. the beautiful graphics I created in AE in HD format now look blocky in Final Cut’s Preview window. Is there a SD format that is lossless I should work in to avoid this artifacting.. maybe I what I was thinking was a fields issue is really a compression artifacting issue… any help?

It’s pretty even spread NTSC DV footage and DVC PRO HD.

It’s my demo reel and intended output is a flash video file for my website AND a DVD for handout

    Thanks!

Well, I’ve messed around with a few, but I settled on basic NTSC DV, with fields set to NONE
