Thanks for the advice – unfortunately i do not have the luxury of doing this with the original footage.

I have downconverted 720×486 footage that is at 29.97 fps.

The footage was given to me already – please advise on the best thing for me to do.

Are you doing the editing in FCP? = YES

What are creating the 3d animation in? = LIGHTWEAVE but rendering in FPRIME for speed which does NOT allow field rendering

What resolution footage are they giving you? 720 x 486 29.97fps – I do not have access to the 24p footage only 2997

So there I was about to go to comp USA to buy a $600 Force 6800, then I checked your posting and decided to try switching the cables.

It fixed it!
