Select the layer you need to update in your time line, hit CTRL+E and it will open the graphic in Photoshop. Make your changes, then save it and return to After Effects and it will be automatically updated for you.
Be careful not to add layers or rename layers, or it could mess up your AE composition. If you add layers, you will need to re-import the layers as a composition, then copy and paste to where you need them. Here’s a good discussion of some of the issues with layered PSDs:

One thing you might try is to select all of the elements in the folder, right click, and choose “Purge Cache for Selection”. While I know what it does, I don’t know why it often solves some very funky problems I’ve had in the past, such as having a .mov file, which is perfectly able to take keywords, not take them.
It’s just a guess, but it’s worth trying. I’ve had it solve problems which had me scratching my head.

I seriously doubt it, and I also seriously doubt that any software is smart enough to come up with an animation based on two frames. Think about how a snake moves. In two seconds, it has moved its muscles dozens of times, oscillating its head and body parts, as well as moving its body in many different ways so as to propel itself along.
Even morphing software would only create a sort of “fade” between the two positions, and I’m sure that’s not what you want. I would suggest using the single beginning frame, and then using the puppet tool and maybe some of the distortion effects to achieve what you want.

Most likely created in Photoshop, each letter on a separate layer, then animated in on the Z axis in After Effects.

I like many of the choices on Audio Blocks, but if they’re anything like their sister site, Video Blocks, once you create a login and they get your email address, they will spam you relentlessly with offers, sometimes once or twice a day. I finally had to block them.

That’s very strange. I just tried the same thing (Bridge CC 64 bit), and the search works just as you would have expected. For example, I have a file in my DEMOS folder called “3D_Clamp_Cutaway.mp4”. When I do a search on “Clamp”, it finds it; when I do a search on “3D”, it finds it; when I do a search on “Cutaway”, it finds it, when typed either in upper or lower case. Needless to say, the quotes around my searches above are not used in the actual Bridge search, and in the test I was using the Search window with the magnifying glass in the upper right hand bar of the interface, not the popup interface which spawns when you do CTRL-F.
What version of Bridge are you using? I also use Bridge CS6 on my workstation, and it works the same way.

You might want to consider a true enterprise grade PC such as the HP Z800 or Z820. Take a look at my post here, which gives you a good rundown on what I ended up with:

It’s completely upgradeable from the motherboard up, and you can strip it down to the motherboard without so much as a screwdriver! Some friends of mine who are on the Mac platform say that it looks quite similar to the old Mac Pro, but it’s not as much a closed system. You can add USB 3.0 via a 12 dollar PCIe card, and my experience thus far has been wonderful. A little bit noisy on startup, but with dual Xeons 3.33GHZ quad core processors and an Nvidia card with fans on board, there’s quite a bit of cooling that needs to go on. That said, you can get a liquid cooled option for it if you don’t have a machine room rack to put it in.
