Memory Allocation failure. I have a High Sierra 10.13.6, 5k Imac, 4.2g, Intel 7, 32mgs of ram system, and I’m trying to edit with 4K for the first time. Editing is fine except when I try to export, it wont and I get an Memory Allocation failure. How can I export a program in 4k given the failure message I’m getting? Thanks,

Thanks, Floh. I am getting instances when I try to render a media 100 program and I get a message M-100 system locked up and it shuts down. any idea what could cause that? sometimes. I find corrupt media and remove it and that solves the problem, but its not consistent. What could cause that do you think? Thanks. again!

I tried uninstalling and and then reinstalling M100 with the same results. My big problem now is that the 90 minute show I need to open won’t even tho’I created a new project and tried to open it up there. I’m getting a “can’t open program because end of file” message. What does that mean?

    No,
My programs have always been on one mac pro system. This is a very big documentary, a 90-min. project I started four years ago. I have over two dozen bins and about 200 clips per bin spread over 7 different hard drives. My problem is I can’t seem to find a way to open the various programs that I need. Additionally, I haven’t changed the OS during this time either. And in the 12+ years I’ve been using Media 100, it’s the only time this problem has come up. I need some help on this one! Any ideas or am I stuck? Thanks.

  • Thanks, Fermin… I’ll try that! Best, Joe

  • I’m shooting w/ a Panasonic AF 100, set for 1080p/24f. My Media 100 program timeline, which is set for 1080fps/23.98 works great w/ all the footage I’ve shot at that setting. Its just it won’t integrate 1080i/60 foot. I’ve converted that 1080i footsage using Wondershare to 1080p/23.98 but it still won’t take it. I’ve got numerous other assets to import but the M-100 conform function tool doesn’t change the frame rate. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Joe
