May 10, 2022 at 8:19 amMedia 100 ist a 32bit Application and relies heavily on QuickTime. Both support for 32 bit Applications and the (32 Bit) QuickTime Frameworks have been removed by Apple with MacoOS 10.15 Catalina. MacOS 10.14.6 Mojave is the latest OS that will allow Media 100 to launch.

August 1, 2022 at 1:19 pmThanks, Floh. I am getting instances when I try to render a media 100 program and I get a message M-100 system locked up and it shuts down. any idea what could cause that? sometimes. I find corrupt media and remove it and that solves the problem, but its not consistent. What could cause that do you think? Thanks. again!

December 9, 2022 at 4:05 pmMemory Allocation failure. I have a High Sierra 10.13.6, 5k Imac, 4.2g, Intel 7, 32mgs of ram system, and I’m trying to edit with 4K for the first time. Editing is fine except when I try to export, it wont and I get an Memory Allocation failure. How can I export a program in 4k given the failure message I’m getting? Thanks,

June 30, 2023 at 1:53 pmCrikey! What about exporting to a by-reference Quicktime file, and then encoding the by-reference file to final output with another piece of software? I’ve used Quicktime Player 7 Pro and Apple Compressor both for that purpose. Or do problems occur before you even make it to the export dialogue box from where to select your export preferences?
