New Macpro + Lion with support for gtx480… Gtx480 has x2 cores of a 285. Lion DP4 has support for GTX480 with full features.

And I think we will see nvidia cards or cuda proccesor through thunderbolt in a near future… but this info is only my opinion.

I’m happy with 14fps today, and 25fps in 2 months with the new macpro… or hackintosh…

Brian, I don’t know nothing about smoke, but can you use audio filters or control surface for audio mixing with smoke?. For me this is basic. FCP7 is fantastic for audio mixing if you know what you are doing. Maybe FCPX is better… with visual plugins…

I do the same.

Firstly denoise, second color correct.

The process of color correcting with an image without any noise is impressive. I didn’t notice any banding or any artifact if I adjust it carefully with prores 4444 4k.

Tracking and qualifiers are much better without noise.

But this is only an opinion from my experience.

I have old multibridge and work really well.

I bought a decklink 3d and after two months it started to disappear randomly… and when disappear it crashed final cut and davinci… i changed to my old multibridge and after that all perfectly…

Try neatvideo at 4k, its really incredible, i recomend grading after denoise…
