May 12, 2011 at 11:17 pmIt does! Try hitting the alt key while you’re in ControllerMate. The button will light up in the palette/devices window. You can use an “and” operator to use 2 buttons at the same time. Then pipe in into the keystroke. That was a bit more involved for the tutorial, but I can make more advanced ones if there’s interest.

May 14, 2011 at 8:06 amHey Josh,
Thanks for the post. This process won’t turn of the other Davinci assigned buttons on the wave panel – Is this right? So re-assigning already taken up keys will result in triggering your new macro and triggering what was already assigned in Davinci?
Cheers,
Marcus.

May 14, 2011 at 4:43 pmRemapping one key will not effect the others. It will only effect the key that you’ve modified.

May 14, 2011 at 10:00 pmJosh, is possible to move wave knobs from a page to other page?, for example, blur and saturation in the same page?
Thanks!!

May 15, 2011 at 3:21 amI haven’t seen a way to do that yet. But, if anyone at Tangent happens to be looking at this group, they might want to consider updating the “Panel Control Mapper” for use with Resolve. It currently works with Color 1.5:

July 11, 2014 at 3:27 amHi Josh,
I’m a little late on this post. But I’m having trouble with your tutorial but I seem to be the only one… Maybe I’m the only moron…
I’m running new macpro w/ mavericks…
I open controller mate and I see my wave in the devices list. However when I push buttons on my wave nothing lights up. When I click on my i have a few warning signs, one is… Button Group Building Block, the other is… Driver configuration…
I’m lost and don’t quiote no what to do here.
Any help would be appreciated…
Ash!

July 11, 2014 at 3:51 amHey Ash,
I’ve avoided running mavericks on all of my systems, for now. I’m still running 10.8.5, so unfortunately, I can’t test that out for you. Anyone else running controllermate on mavericks with any success?
