    It’s a simple ‘levels’ shift. Open up your level adjustments and lower the ‘White Input” level and you’ll get it. I sugggest bringing up a white card at the VERY end because some of the pixels will trun bright colors when you get close to zero on the “white Input” level. You can do the opposite effect with a dip to black with the “Black Input” level.

    Thanks man, I swear that one just got to me. I really think I’m not looking at Avid in the correct way. I’m trying to make it too much like FCP. I really need some guidence on how I can approach this type of editing. Know anyone good or anything good that I can talk to or get my hands on to help me with the transition?

    This would have to be done on the origional workstation correct? Because I did it on the new one and it woun’t let me add anyone because it’s resticted.
