Many thanks Andy…does that mean if I want to have a smoother interlaced look … I can just leave the interlaced material in …and it would still be ok for the PsF format – but in a progressive timeline?
More simply:
Do I have to de-interlace interlace material in a progressive timeline for the PsF format?
Noticed this the other week in 7.0.3…
Just turn the timeline from realtime to safe and back again…and don’t use duplicated sequences – copy and paste instead.
Must be a bug.

Ahem, was meaning fast turnaround programs. I am a Pro Tools Engineer as well, but some clients don’t want to pay for my machine. Yup, be good also for audio ducking for narration to automate this process.
Must admit I do use the split clip technique as it is very fast at mixing compared to those pesky rubber bands, but I always get rid of them before I spit out an OMF.
I love FCP. All I want to see is 64bit and background rendering to make this program as fast as possible! – even if this involves buying another machine for just this – I know LOTS of prod co’s that would easily shell out – or of course Xserve.
Been have trouble here with a SAN too. Check that your renders, waveforms and autosave are on a local (pref) RAID…fixed my waveforms – think it was a permissions thing.
