Had this problem the other month with DJI footage.
There is no solution unless you deliver progressive – is that an option?
Tried all the plugs BCC etc…got some mediocre results.
Basically the camera is too sharp for interlaced broadcast lines – the operator needs the next one up so they can hang a GH4 off it.
And by rights, DJI need to fix this…Good luck,

I cut this 6 half hour doco series for Al Jazeera on 10.0.9 – 2 years ago:
https://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/wildlife-warzone/2013/09/2013917141359391317.html
There were 62 shoot days – the biggest hassle was syncing to external audio – I did tell them to get a clap!
I did have the Library corrupt a few times – not too sure how it is now – though I’d thoroughly recommend buy Pro Versioner (https://www.digitalrebellion.com/proversioner/) as it saved my butt.
It is such a fast cutter – in/out wham! (insert, overwrite, overlay or place at end). I could do cuts (and notes, audio volumes etc) to the timeline while it was playing!
Try doing that on Avid, it just stops dead. The last few jobs I’ve done in Avid I’m sure I’m pushing 3 buttons to FCPX’s 1. And that would compare to FCP7’s 2 button push to do the same job.Now all I wish is for market saturation so I can use it; I have been showing a lot of people that were disdained from the release, and all of them have been suitable impressed with some of it’s features.
My tip is remember the shortcut shift-delete which is ‘replace with gap’ so you put a piece of black in when you delete a clip without the timeline assembling ala the magnetic timeline.
Cheers,

You can apparently using version 8.4:
Alpha Support for Quicktime DNxHR
Timelines that contain alpha channels can now be exported as Quicktime DNxHR files. Using a third-party application, you can create QuickTime wrapped DNxHR movies that contain an alpha channel and Fast Import or link these files into Media Composer.
Available today in the Media Composer 8.4 update—ALPHA SUPPORT for QUICKTIME DNxHR.Jon

The most that I can say is that after getting used to for a couple of weeks, it is an extremely fast editor without having to worry about tracks; in/out bang! (overwrite, assemble, overlay).
Last couple of projects in AVID, track assigning gets real tiresome…and the fluidity of the interface – like touch something and it stops – is just ludicrous, as Pro Tools does this. (and don’t get me started on usable audio waveforms until the latest releases…)
FCPX, was able to trim and reorder(!), while it was playing in the timeline! (yeah it’d drop a frame or 3…but what the hell)Jon.

Kind of remember this glitch with Perian…do you have it installed?

Try changing to ‘mouse’ mode in prefs – a lot easier.
