The messed up rendered look I posted has that dark look over the entire rendered video, starting with the original clip and then carrying out until the end. It’s on all clips.

Mike, so I did it all with your guidance. Unfortunately it is giving me an error when I try to import that file into Sony DVD Architect, which seems strange since that’s the template I used. Any idea?

This is very helpful. The video is under an hour so that will be easy to follow. One last question, in my project properties what should my pixel aspect ratio be set to? NTSC DV or NTSC Widescreen or Square?

Hi Mike.. My properties are: NTSC DV Widescreen (720×480, 29.970 fps) and I’ve tried rendering it to MPG2, uncompressed AVI and burned both on a PC to DVD. I also tried rendering to MOV and burning with iDVD on a MAC.

My goal is to have the highest quality DVD to give out to the family on Christmas and this has been stressing me out beyond all belief so thank you in advance for the input!
