Very quick question… When I add try and slow-mo clips from my son’s baseball games I often control-drag. Am I better off using “Insert Envelope” and then adjusting velocity? Or is that really the same thing and no quality difference?

Control-Drag slows the whole clip. The velocity envelope lets you control the speed inside the event.

Yup, that’s really the only difference. If you want to slow down gradually use an envelope. Otherwise just change the playback rate with Ctrl+drag.

i usually disable re sampling for the clip if I am doing slow motion as well, otherwise I tend to get mushy blurred clips (FYI)
