I’ve read an article on the making of this somewhere. Try searching for I know its out there. But, I remember it involving some 3D, some tracking, etc.

Agreed, well put. Just always remember this will never be your last job. (i hope) If you’re a strong good worker competent employers will see that and give you a chance. Not saying quit. But voice your opinion and concerns to the producer. And is they don’t listen say peace to ya. They’ll probably never find anybody as good or as quick or willing to put in the extra time. And if they do they probably cant afford them, and that person definetly wont put up with there rediculous demands.

Thanks Govinda, appreciate it. Im useing BhodiNUTDANEL, Cinema 8.5, no radiosity. I’ve lowered my threshold, turned 24 bit dithering on. But, have the Min Max the same (1×1, 2×2) It seemed to help a little. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but Im kinda a perfectionist. Baking textures sounds interesting….I’ll have to look into that!

I recommend Cinema 4D also. Dont be scared man jump IN!!!! Its essential to your arsenal.

Id say as far as tutorials MAYA and MAX probably have the most “mainstream tuts” like DVDs and Books. But, there are plenty of resources for learning Cinema 4D if you do a little digging. This book: CINEMA 4D : The Artist’s Project Sourcebook by Anne Powers is pretty awesome. I found it to be very useful. And a couple websites https://www.3dattack.net and https://www.c4dcafe.com and many more. Hope it helps

Hey thanks for the tip Jason! I was thinking about doing something along those lines, but just figured it be mor of a pain than anything. Definetly a plug-in like that would be ridiculous!
