August 24, 2005 at 2:57 amWhoops, sorry Jon, I found the thread I was thinking of and it was AE to Maya, not C4D. Someone posted a link where there was a AE plug that generated a Maya file. Sorry, I confused it.

I haven’t heard of any utility or plug-in, but I would buy that in a heartbeat. Anyway, my work around is to type in the AE camera values (pos, rot) into the C4D camera coordinates for each keyframe. It’s OK for simple camera moves. It isn’t pretty, and forget it if you’ve added any ease-in/out adjustment to your AE camera. But I use it sometimes to plot out positions btw C4D and AE, and then in the end, I import the C4D camera into AE.

August 25, 2005 at 7:20 pmHey thanks for the tip Jason! I was thinking about doing something along those lines, but just figured it be mor of a pain than anything. Definetly a plug-in like that would be ridiculous!
thanks man
