Right-click to the context-sensitive menu for tools to adjust in the “Z” axis, so to speak.
“Align” and “Distribute” order items in the “X” and “Y” axis.

What version of Premiere Pro are you using?
You can also create and save your own custom Sequence settings for regular re-use.

That’s not an issue for me, David. We’re a PC house. We now have hardware acceleration on both machines up and running.

Despite what the nVidia site reported, the most recent driver was NOT installed.
Installed the most recent driver. Problem solved.
NVidia’s little Java-powered driver detector isn’t always correct.

They also didn’t know we had to update the software for the BlackMagic Decklink card, but we figured that one out. We hardly use it now anyway, except to get picture to our external monitor.

On the 1440×1080 in HD Anomorphic 1080 (1.333) or 1920×1080 Square Pixels (1.0). . .
Both are Pixel Aspect Ratios. That is why the HD Anamorphic still comes out to 16:9 Screen Aspect, even though the resolution is different. The HD Anamorphic pixels are not square.
Which is more cinematic? Well, to me that is as much what the shots are/how they were shot/how they look as it is screen aspect.
Why not render both and watch them/live with them a few days? May help you make your choice.

Also, why waste the money replacing a computer with a computer?
Macs and OC’s can all network together.
You will need files from them. Those files will work fine in your PC’s.
They will need files from you. You can output files that will work in their Macs.
Look at the total outlay you are contemplating, and figure out how you could use them money to really boost effectiveness and productivity besides replacing one box with another box. Your current machines are pretty well-equipped.

Hi everyone. I let this thread get away from me; I apologize for not responding sooner.
I was thinking in terms of rays and flares.
There was one we had on an older system. Man I wish I could remember what it was. Produced some sweet, finely detailed ray effects, and rendered efficiently.
