As far as I’m aware, Kollaborate is the only one on that list that supports self-hosting. As Kollaborate’s developer I would love to hear your feedback and how it could fit better into your workflow.

December 11, 2015 at 7:58 pm in reply to: Cinema Tools Quits Unexpectedly for ” os x el capitan”Cinema Tools has been unreliable on newer versions of OS X for a while and it looks like El Capitan finally broke it for good. I’m not sure what functions you were needing to use but if it’s frame rate conforming, that’s something we offer with QT Edit in our Pro Media Tools suite: https://www.digitalrebellion.com/promedia

Yes, a useful side-effect of Project Repair is that it optimizes events. This reduces the file size and decreases loading times.
We have a 15-day trial here if you want to try out that feature: https://www.digitalrebellion.com/promaintenance/download.html

A lot of our customers are using it with FCPX. They might actually be the majority.

May 21, 2014 at 3:11 pm in reply to: Is There a Way To Calculate Hard Drive Space Needed When Importing? Our iOS and Mac calculators have more codecs than the online version:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/video-space/id492916201?mt=8
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/video-space-calculator/id520581399?mt=12Also, I’m not sure if AJA has fixed this, but last time I looked at their app I noticed they were using a weird way of calculating the size that made it inaccurate in the real-world tests I tried.

Yes, it’s called Video Check and it’s in Pro Media Tools:
https://www.digitalrebellion.com/promediaBut it uses AV Foundation so no third-party codecs I’m afraid.

Unfortunately we don’t have pre-release access to FCPX and get it the same day as everyone else, so there can be a delay in compatibility if Apple makes major changes. That doesn’t happen very often though.
