    re-install?
or you could try the Pro Maintenance tools from Digital Rebellion
    https://www.digitalrebellion.com/promaintenance/

hopefully your old software hasn’t hit a wall with the new OS.

Cinema Tools has been unreliable on newer versions of OS X for a while and it looks like El Capitan finally broke it for good. I’m not sure what functions you were needing to use but if it’s frame rate conforming, that’s something we offer with QT Edit in our Pro Media Tools suite: https://www.digitalrebellion.com/promedia

    My software:
Pro Maintenance Tools – Tools to keep Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro running smoothly and fix problems when they arise
Pro Media Tools – Edit QuickTime chapters and metdata, detect gamma shifts, edit markers, watch renders and more
    More tools…
