Go to Preferences…Media, clean cache. Reboot. Let the caching/indexing/conforming (indicated lower right of the UI with Orange bar) etc finish before working.

Has it worked before?
If you have Prod Premium it should talk to one another, it may not if you have installed separate PPro and Audition Serials.

You could have your fields incorrectly interpreted or rendered out.
Be sure to check the interpret footage of the clips in the project panel and see that there is a match from Upper or Lower first in the sequence and again in the export.

Edit> Edit in Adobe Audition>Sequence…

This is not a known issue. Been working this way for a long time. What are they playing off? MP4 extension may be creating issues for them. Try changing the extension to mov. Sounds like they are using something our of date or weird… Windows Media player, VLC and QT playack all my MP4 files fine….

I gotta say as a fcp user for 10+ years and now part of the Adobe Team that I really feel this is a great feature to add. I will keep pushing that this be implemented but I can’t promise when. We classify something like this as JDI, Just Do It. It’s about workflow and I totally see the speed and creative options with this implementation.

Just to keep working I tend to manually control the gaps by highlighting the line and adjusting the font size.
Not sure why you are seeing the issue you have…. But getting back to work is more important than understanding the problem. 🙂
If you get time file a bug report to Adobe.

Are you on PC or Mac?
WARNING: File Size will be quite big.
PC/Mac: Both can use this export format.
Format – Quicktime
Go to Video tab, tinker…
Video Codec – None
Width & Height – “whatever your sequence is set to”
Frame Rate – “whatever your sequence is set to”
Field Type – “whatever your sequence is set to”
Aspect – “whatever your sequence is set to”Apologies for it being so manual, but once you set it, you can save it ias a preset with the little save icon next to the preset dropdown list.
And Yes, SD would be faster than HD as material to work from. Esxporting HD to SD is not faster, that requires way more processing to rescale.

Place the playhead at the edit point. Make sure the target track is active (light grey) and use this combo PC: Control+D Mac: Command+D
For Audio Default, use PC: Control+Shift+D Mac: Command+Shift+D
