Is there a way to add the default transition to a highlighted clip with a keyboard short cut or do I have to drag it to each end? I have tried highlighting the clip and using control T but it did not do anything. What am I missing?

Place the playhead at the edit point. Make sure the target track is active (light grey) and use this combo PC: Control+D Mac: Command+D

For Audio Default, use PC: Control+Shift+D Mac: Command+Shift+D
