It won’t delete image settings, but it will delete your previews so it will have to re-render all of the previews which will take time (depending on your machine). You’ll notice when you hit a folder with a lot of pictures.

It also depends on your costs: if it was for a formal shoot, you would have associated costs. Nowadays, you can get lots of pricing from places like pond5 or shutterstock (there loads of others) and those are all non-exclusive, royalty-free clips.

Basically, just reset your cache. It can take a while. Do the images open okay in Photoshop if you choose open?

Thanks for sending the video. I see its much more noticeable around the brighter areas of the image as in the image from earlier. I did a little research on your Nikon D5200 and I found these (look for “banding nikon d5200”):

He seems to have done extensive testing on this. Looks like the issue is largely due to the Toshiba sensor. It can never hurt to keep your sensor and lenses clean, but I don’t think that’s your issue here.

Hey there, looks like JPEG compression with the blockiness. Are you shooting raw or jpeg? Shooting flat? Also, make sure there aren’t any known issues with lowlight and the sensors on those cameras. Try some experiments with low light and a scrim to give you a wall gradient from dark to light and try different colors, exposure settings, data settings (ie: jpeg or raw), sizes, in-camera compression, etc.

The easy way is to create a single line of dots with one dot at the center. Group the line, then select the rotate tool and reset the center point to be the “center dot” created above. Option-rotate to duplicate the row of dots using the center dot as a fulcrum, then use repeat to make as many as you like. When done, ungroup a couple times and delete the center dots. Done. 🙂

Yeah, it can be a lot of fun. It’s tough if you don’t know scripting already, but it can be very rewarding. Even macros are a real help when you have a lot of photos to process.

Hmmm, are you on PC or Mac? The solution would be easier using Automator on Mac OS with actionscript on PS to copy and paste from a flat file or spreadsheet to PS and then to the plugin:
So the device independent workflow:
Open file (flat file or spreadsheet), copy data to clipboard, move to photoshop, launch action to get to your QR code maker, paste data, create QR code image, save as… whatever, rinse, repeat. Can also make this as a macro if you don’t know scripting.You can do this one on either mac or pc, by the way. For more info, search google for “photoshop scripting guide” which also has specific reference guides for javascript, vb, and applescript. On PC, you can use just about any scripting language (same on mac), like python or what have you.

Hey there, if you are pasting or importing pixel art from a paint app, it’s a raster image you are pasting (not vector). Illustrator handles the object as a single raster image inside its own (rectangular) path – no layers or anything.
Soooo, you can do it a couple ways: either bring it into photoshop, draw an outline path (need to use the paths tab) and export the path to illustrator, then import to illustrator OR redraw the path in illustrator over the top of the pasted image, then use the path as a clipping path and drop the image into the path.
