Try going to Edit -> Configure. Then select the ‘view’ tab in the menu that opens. Looking at the options, you should see ‘point handle size’ and ‘select point size’. Are they at value 1? Try changing to 10 and see if you see the points then.
I have found the solution, it was due to having intermediate points on the spline. As soon as i set it to 0 intermediate points, it went great. Also, setting the intermediate points to adaptive worked fine.
Hull Inwards was also an option that allowed it to drag in the direction i wanted.
Thank you. It didn’t cross my mind to acess that. However, i do not get the point of ‘rendering’ the viewport, with the same elements you view while you model or animate them. It doesn’t actually render.
I have removed the 3 sound tracks and it seems to be working fine with under 1.5 GB of ram now. It’s odd how 3 tracks caused so much usage in memory. They were over 4 minutes each but…
Yes it is the same result. I tried changing the color and when it’s a lighter color, it is transparent. In fact, the lighter the color is, the more transparent it becomes. When it’s a really dark color, it’s opaque. Why is this? 🙂
I tried initially to do it in a different way, but i wasn’t able to, then i saw a tutorial on how to do it using Maya. The person there used a cylinder as a base for the shape, so i decided to give it a shot and atleast i managed to turn it in close to the desired shape. It has alot of rough edges but i think it will do at my level.
I am trying to move, scale, add points to obtain the shape, but i think it may be out of my league. I’ll keep trying and atleast work out a similar shape. I guess this really is somewhat of an art, actually drawing the shape, in a way :p
Ah, when i introduced the S&S it didn’t tick my mind that i had to place it where my object was, i left it at the default origin spot, i was really dumb at this one. Thank you for taking the time to help me out 🙂
