On the Nucoda there is a control called Brightness Regions that I use frequently. One can adjust the slope, in/out point, and width of any region. Here the adjustments are superimposed over the image. Yeah, it would be nice to have this feature on Resolve.

I was told by BMD tech support that the HDMI out of the Decklink Extreme is 8 bit!
And remember, if you go the HDLink route, you must have the Displayport version, not the DVI (which is also limited to 8 bit)

BMD support today said the 3D is 8 bit over HDMI and one must have a 3D+ to get 10 bit. Is this true? I know the 1.3 spec is 10 (or 12) bit.

I had the same problem. Try switching the position of the GUI and the Cuda card. Worked for me.

That’s whats nice about systems like Nucoda and Scratch, where the SDI output is on a daughter card attached to the GPU. Your grades don’t have to go out over the system bus to the Decklink. Wouldn’t it be great if BMD partnered with Nvidia to create an SDI/HDMI output only option daughter card for those us of that don’t need capture? Might only work with the Quadro FX series tho’…

So how does one actually use the audio extracted from a clip? It doesn’t show up in the browser, so I can’t add it to the media pool, and the manual says to attach the extracted .wav to a session in Conform, but no advice on how to do that.

So I found out that middle clicking on any shot in the timeline instantly copies the grade to the current shot!
I still want to copy the grade from one or two shots back without using the mouse…
