Try to delete any offline or unknown clips (flag one and they should all be flagged). Make sure there are no spaces (or %) in the source filenames.

BMD is aware of this problem, and I had great support from them in figuring it out. The advice I got was to flag the first problem clip, then all problem clips will be flagged. Delete them all and render.

Is there any difference on using HDMI or HD-SDI from DeckLink 3D in manner of full range?
Yes. What most people don’t realize is that the HDMI output of the 3DE is legal range only. I have confirmed this by running a full range PLUGE through Resolve/outboard scope. The below black is gone on the HDMI, but visible on the the SDI output through an HDLink Pro to HDMI. Also HDMI output is 8 bit only. I got conflicting answers from BMD on whether the HDMI output is actually 10 bit on the 3DE+.

That was it, thanks. Still having timecode errors on some clips (yes, they do have embedded timecode), but at least it’s working…

I am trying to import an AAF from Symphony 6.0 and only a few of the hundreds of clips are showing up. It was shot on XDCAM (EX3) but the files are mp4. Is that the problem? Quicktime 7 doesn’t recognize them but VLC does.

Any way to do this on the input? I need to pillarbox just the main titles.

Same problem here, but complex FCP7 XML with 6 layers. I changed external drive I was rendering to and all was well. Also out of town – wil send logs Monday. V8.01
