I believe you have found the problem. No version of macOS could write to NTFS drives without additional software (read but not write). That would explain why it is reporting that the drive is full. I’m guessing that whatever you used in Sierra to write to NTFS volumes has stopped working in High Sierra.
I just plugged my NTFS formatted RAID5 into my High Sierra MacBook Pro and I’m seeing the same thing.

Yea, if those are old drives left over from your PC days it’s time to reformat them.

Yea, that’s because Apple dropped support for Rosetta which was the subsystem that supported PowerPC and the install program is probable written for PowerPC.
What you should be able to do is create the partition in El Capitan. Then boot your Mac from the Snow Leopard DVD just like you would have back in the day. When prompted to install, select the partition that you created for Snow Leopard and let it install. That should work.

My thoughts are unless you have an army of lawyers ready to prosecute people who steal your videos, you are wasting your time. There is no way to stop recording something that can be seen.
The best you can do is only give people who pay for it access to the URL and ask that they not make illegal copies.

What do you have your Timeline Ruler set to? If you set it to 29.97 it doesn’t matter what you project is or media is, it will show 29.97 fps. The Timeline Ruler is independent of the Project Properties. Make sure that they are set the same.
