You have to use DVD Architect. I would render in Vegas using the DVD Architect 24p NTSC Widescreen video stream template under the MainConcept MPEG-2 type. Then render your audio as AC3. This will keep the 24p cadence.

Is it possible that you have a timeline loop selection and you are rendering with the “render loop region only” option? (just guessing here)

You might try re-installing Vegas Pro. It looks like the ProType Titler plug-in has gone missing.

Do you want the logo to zoom? If so, copy and paste the keyframes to make the logo zoom as well. If not, the other logo is going to move when you zoom. That’s why you should blur it out.

What do you mean “audio editing”? Morty suggested ACID which is more “music composition”. When I think audio editing I think of Sound Forge. Even the less expensive Sound Forge Studio is a powerful audio editor. Of course Vegas can also do audio editing at the event level. What kind of “edits” are you looking to make?

There is a handy free video processor that everyone should have in their kit called VirtualDub. It has several internal filters and many 3rd party filters that are all free and rival some of the commercial packages out there. (The most famous one is probably DeShaker which will steady shaky hand-held footage) One of the filters you can get is called logoaway another is DeLogo. Both of those will remove a logo by combining the pixels around it to blend it into the background. I’ve used logoaway v2.4 with good results.

Not a silly question at all. The NTSC DV project setting is 4:3. The problem is that it is SD not HD. There is no HD 4:3 setting because HD is 16:9. Do you know how you are going to render your project for Media Shout? If it’s SD then NTSC DV should be fine. Otherwise see if Movie Studio will let you create a custom 4:3 project that is HD. The settings would be 1440 x 1080 PAR 1.000. You can probably start with the HDV setting and just change the PAR to 1.000.

I was thinking the same thing. With only 4 video tracks available in Movie Studio, there is really no way to do the opening sequence. There is at least a background, logo, and title overlay, with 14 smaller videos in motion. That requires at east 18 tracks to pull off. You really need to Pro version of Vegas to do work like that.
