I like Pioneer and have had several of their DVD and Blu-ray burners over the years and never had any problems (all internal).

What have you tried? What hasn’t worked?
As far as I know, the Vegas Pro HD capture utility was designed to work with Firewire and not USB 3.0 so I don’t believe that Vegas Pro will be able to capture from that device which is probably why B&H couldn’t tell you how. You may need to use other capture software that works with USB webcams. Maybe try VirtualDub and see if that works.

Patrick is right, you should make sure that your whites are broadcast legal. That “something else” should be Broadcast White which is RGB 235,235,235. I’m surprised that the titles aren’t broadcast legal right out of the box. I guess Apple feels that broadcast is dead and the Internet is the only viable delivery medium for the future. lol 😉

The other two procedures are also changing the Dpi to 300. Your should NOT… I repeat NOT do that! Images for Video should be kept at 72 DPI. In the second video someone needs to tell the poor guy that he is dealing with JPEG artifacts and there is a filter built into Photoshop that removes them with a single click instead of all that manual work he is doing. The first video uses an Unsharp Mask which is all you really need to bring some sharpness back to the images.

How do you plan to deliver this video. Will it be HD or something less than HD? If it will be less than HD then changing you project property to match your media and changing you render settings to match your project will give you the best quality. As long as people watch it at the lower quality.

I can’t argue with you about the PC being the best platform for gaming. It certainly is. Premiere is another option but you have to be willing to pay monthly subscription fee whether you use it or not that month so it has it’s own problems with cost. Good luck in whatever method you choose.

It probably calls the OS delete API which deletes the file without using the recycle bin so the file gone just as you requested.
If you use Recuva, you should look in the folder that the original file was in, not the recycle bin.

What would be the business case to justify the development? Apple doesn’t have any software that runs on a PC other than iTunes and there is a 64-bit version of iTunes. There is no need for a 64-bit version of Quicktime as long as Microsoft allows 32-bit applications.
What continues to puzzle me, as to why in this time and age does Microsoft continues to support 32-bit applications? Apple converted OS X to 100% 64-bit years ago so the Mac doesn’t have this problem. Microsoft continues to proliferate 32-bit versions of Windows. I could understand Vista being both 32-bit and 64-bit but Windows 7, 8 & 10 should all be 64-bit only. So IMHO, Microsoft is directly responsible for this mess not Apple.

Exactly! They support OpenCL but not very well. AMD beats them in every OpenCL benchmark by a wide margin. If you want to use OpenCL applications, you want an AMD GPU.
