  • I paste between sequences a lot and I can’t say I’ve seen this happen when the dimensions match….not helpful….I know.

Can you Remove Attributes on the ones that got messed up then copy and Paste Attributes from the original sequence?

Does that work? Or does it get screwed up again?

PS: I always use multi-channel sequences. For stereo sequences, I just set it to 2 channels. This avoids the whole issue of not being able to change the audio outputs after the fact.

I’ve been seeing this a lot too.

Any edit changes in another part of the sequence will cause all renders on the same track to come unrendered. Thankfully I am not working on a longform piece, but it is costing me a lot of time.

Those tracks are 5.1 tracks. You cant record from a mic in 5.1, so they are greyed out.

How the hell are they going to cool this thing with those Xeon processors, all that RAM and a GPU like that?

I guess my point is, that pretty much everyone who has PPRo also has AE…so I can’t see Adobe putting in all the 3D and advanced features you see in FCPX….they view Creative Cloud as a suite of integrated programs, and AE is the tool for those tasks. Not saying I’m totally on board with that strategy, but that’s how It is.

  • you cannot disable tracks from AAF or OMF output.

Dupe the sequence and delete the tracks you don’t want included.

If I need anything more than a quick and dirty title, I use After Effects. The integration with Premiere is pretty good.
That being said, they did make some nice workflow enhancements in the Premiere titler in CC2017. Definitely borrowing from Photoshop.

  • Doesn’t exist on Windows. Mac only.

Dnx HD/HR is a good choice.

    • The Proxy workflow is not supported for interchange options such as Project Manager, Render and Replace, AAF, Final Cut Pro XML, EDL, OMF, and so on. You lose Proxy attachment for these functions. After Effects and Audition interoperability functions are also not currently supported with the Proxy workflow.
