toggle audio track output speaker icon missing in CC 2017
I’m trying to export OMF files for my sound designer (using ProTools). I have a 45 minute film with 40 audio tracks. My designer has requested to use the Embed Audio function as he has problems re-linking to audio files if they are exported as separate files. However with this long of a film and this many audio tracks, using Embed doesn’t work as there is a 2GB file size limit. My designer advised me to split out the audio into smaller chunks by making multiple OMF exports with, for example, audio tracks 1-10, 10-20, etc.
However, I cannot figure out how to toggle audio track outputs. The old speaker icon from previous versions is missing (2017.11). I tried the mute button, but judging from my tests, it doesn’t seem to disable the audio track output.
My question: how to toggle audio track output in premiere cc 2017 so I can achieve this OMF export workaround?
Thanks,
Jason
