dont know if it would work for that size but I’ve done this in the past. try printing it at the 18 inches or smaller then scan it the highest dpi you can then print it again at oh…. 11×17 if it looks good scan it again at a high dpi again and then see if it takes you where you want to be?

ahh… you got me i am thjat same guy. its just that i saw a post from someone else that seemed similar he wanted to increase the size of his talent although he already shot and he’s got what he got, he shot in front of a green screen and in his post it seemed that there were other options he could have taken if he asked first and shot second. so since i haven’t shot anything yet i’d ask again this time omitting that i wanted to shoot in front of a green screen and see if there was a different (meaning simpler way) to do what i wanted to do and if green screen is the way to go then that’s good especially since this low budget no budget event doesn’t allow for set building. I guess i could draw stick figures or something but its really just the standard bull in a china closet situation people get tossed around by a rather large hulk like figure.

  • I’m new at it myself but here goes nothing

1.its just like you said an effect or filter found in photoshop or AE. if you dont have it try googling it.

    2. thats either a matte or garbage matte if you have final cut its in there like prego.

    3. thats the mirror effect and usually you can make that effect start and end where you want it to ie. top bottom sides left right.

    4. i saw a video tutorial here at the cow but i have yet to look at it myself, have at it and knock yourself out.

    5. the tv wall is a video montage and the camera is simply tracking back away from it. that tutorial is called 3d photo montage also found here on the cow.

thats all i got good luck…… oh if you get something better i would like to know as well.

don’t know if this helps but i did something similar and I saved everything as a PNG file instead and my background stayed transparent.
