You mean the files ‘should just open’ in quicktime? That’s definitely not happening. Do you think it sounds like these files may have been corrupted?

Can’t get the flash card back easily. So i’m hoping there’s an alternative…but i’m hitting a wall here with ideas

But now I have a second quick question – It appears that some of the footage i’m working with was shot (dvx100b footage) in 24p Normal with the widescreen matte, and some shot in 24p Normal in Anamorphic mode. Is there any way to convert the footage shot in widesceen matte mode to anamorphic so it will all work in an anamorphic timeline properly? And will I lose a lot of quality this way?

Based on a search of this thread, these are some of the bugs i’ve heard about with 5.1.4:

1. Third party effects that do not work – Boris and Colorista (at least
the
GUI interface does not work)

2. 10 bit output – I have to set my Kona-2 or IO La to 8 bit
uncompressed
output instead of 10 bit, otherwise I get a scrambled screen. This was
not
the case in 5.1.2.

3. Relinking to media from previous projects – had a project go
completely
berserk and relink to incorrect clips

4. Loss of RT functionality compared to 5.1.2

5. Possible project corruption issues

Is this wrong? Otherwise, when is 5.1.5 coming out?
