Thanks for the link, I finally solved it by making the audio in each timeline exactly one frame less than the video. For some reason this solved the problem. There’s a lengthy discussion concerning this infamous “16072” error on the adobe forums.

Interesting, I am running an NVIDIA. I updated my drivers about six months ago, but only encountered the problem several weeks ago. I’ll try rolling back. Thanks,

I’m not sure how specific you want me to get, but I’m using Standard DV at 30fps, 32khz audio, and .avi format for all clips within the project timeline.

By the way, I’m running Premiere 1.5, and it’s a legitimate copy.

Regarding the green screen work: I have never incorporated green screen into a film before, but have run some tests in the past. Shooting on a DV camcorder, I find the major problem to be keying out the background color without getting a grainy image around the subject. What is the best way to alleviate this problem? Also, in lighting the green screen: we are very low budget and don’t have access to studio lighting, leaving us with soft yellow bulbs. As these tend to create shadows, I came to the conclusion that switching to brighter, whiter bulbs would remedy the problem and create a consistent shade of green to key out. I haven’t tried this out, but plan on running some tests in the near future. Suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Rameen

The movie look I am using is “Bistro” The settings are set to preserve alpha and 0% blend with original. I think I’m just going to reinstall with movie looks 1.1.2 and see if that remedies the problem
