Select the clip in the Project window and press Command F (mac) or Control F (pc) to open the Interpret Footage dialog box. Here you can choose to separate the fields. There is no deinterlace function as there is in Photoshop.
Matte color is a material setting in Invigorator Pro. When applied to an object it causes that object act like a mask, blocking out other 3D objects you don’t want to see. You can use it to create some cool 3D transitions but it’s also good for making 3D objects appear to be moving in front and behind 2D layers (and AE 3D layers).
Although they can share the same camera and lights, you can’t have AE 3D objects move behind and in front of Invigorator objects (and visa versa) but there are some ways to fake it. For example, you could use AE’s SPLIT LAYERS command or use the Matte Color material in Invigorator Pro. Let us know if you would like more detail.
Thanks for the clarification! I just thought it would be a shame if prospective users ignored a great product because they were under the impression that all it did was cheesy glints 🙂
The great thing about Glintwerks is that you’re not limited to “cheesy” light wipes. There are so many cool features in this plug-in that you can create some wonderfully subtle and realistic looks as well as some great special effects.
keyframes don’t change their interpolation by themselves so you must be modifying them somehow. In PREFERENCES > GENERAL there is a DEFAULT SPATIAL INTERPOLATION TO LINEAR setting. You can also change the interpolation of the keyframes at any time COMMAND (MAC) or CONTROL (PC) clicking on them.
