Motion tracking the effect point of the BEAM effect would be faster. Perhaps try a search of the archives here first and see if anyone has tips on how to do it.

It happens to me occassionally when clients supply MP3 files. Don’t know if it’s a bug in AE or not but I’ll look into it.

Todd you need to resave the MP3 to a different format before importing it into AE. I usually use Quicktime Pro to convert my MP3 files to AIFF and this removes the stutter from the rendered files.

Hmmm, it sounds like you’re creating a transparency map not a texture map. Take a look at my tutorial first then let us know if you need more assistance.

You need to disable Open GL in the Preferences (PREFERENCES > PREVIEW > ENABLE OPEN GL).

Almost all the tutorials apply to Proanimator 4… The 3D Object Tracking feature is 3D Invigorator Pro only. There are also other differences which I will be outlining in my next tutorial. Stay tuned 🙂
