You actually have more direct control with Invigorator Pro 4 with it’s 3D Object tracking feature and you can’t directly manipulate ProAnimator objects in the comp window like you can with 3D Invigorator Pro. If you click on my head you’ll see a link to a comparison I wrote. You can’t use the text animation presets but 3D Object Tracking gives you access to many other AE features. Also check out the 3D Object Tracking tutorials I made.

Have you checked out my tutorial on layer mapping?
You need to make new materials for each side of the cube with a different map for each, then apply them in Material settings.

Why are you collapsing the layer that you are applying the mask to? Maybe if you can tell us a little more about what it is you are trying to do…
Transform properties are Position, Scale, Rotation, Opacity and Anchor Point

Make sure the layers inside the precomp are also 3D. Also keep in mind that collapsing transformations switches the render order, what is usually Masks, Effects, Transform properties becomes Masks, Transform Properties, effects.
