Check the Live Update button on the Timeline Panel, just to the right of the current time readout. It’s probably unchecked on one machine.

Yes you can select individual letters in the Scene Preview window – just click on them, and move each one into a different set as I explained in my post above. The setup window is the window that opens when you click Options or on the little red ball in the Effect Controls window.

In my previous post I was referring to Invigorator text. You can manipulate individual letters both in the Setup window and in the Effect Controls panel. Just select each letter individually and manipulate.

By default all the letters of the word will be in Set 1. In the Setup window, click on the second letter of the word and choose Set 2 from the Sets popup menu. Then put letter 3 in Set 3, letter 4 in Set 4 and so on. You can leave letter one in Set 1. Click OK to leave the Setup window then click on the first letter to select it in the Effect Controls panel (make sure you have the Object button selected – it looks like 3 cubes). Once it’s selected, click on the Set popup menu (it should say Set 1) and choose Recenter Pivot, this will move the pivot point to the center of the letter (since it’s now the only object in Set 1). All the other letter’s Pivot points are already centered. Now you’re ready to animate each letter individually. The only limitation is the Set limit of 8. You can always duplicate the effect but that’s not that efficient. ProAnimator isn’t limited by sets so can handle this kind of animation more easily.

Sure. At the moment a good way to fake 3D rotation is to animate the X-scale parameter up from 0.

Per character 3D text animation isn’t possible yet. You can add “jitter” by adding a Wiggly Selector.
