I’m really at a loss, basically, your files are being demuxed, but you have a multiplexer chosen. One thing I noticed is you don’t have audio chosen. Try adding turning on audio, adding it to your file, even though you don’t need it and see if that makes a difference. Cause what you are getting is just the demuxed video only file, or the m4a(audio file), but not the single stream file you need.

I just ran two test’s using your preset—once importing a master directly into AME, then rendering a AE composition in AME and both time got the desired mp4. Your settings work fine for me.

Try importing a different video in media encoder and see if that spits out a m4v file or mp4. If it’s an mp4, then you might have an issue with your source file. What source file are you trying to encode?

Click the multiplexer tab and make sure it’s set to mp4 and not none, none will create an m4v file. If that doesn’t
export your preset and upload it here, if I can install it(I have cs6), I see if I can figure out the problem.

Strange, the only time I get m4v files is if I’m creating a DVD. Are you using an H.264 preset, which one, and if not do a screen shot of your settings and post here(3rd to last icon, remember to copy embed code and post it in your reply)

For true extrusion, press cntl+K, select advanced and change the renderer to Ray Traced 3D. Be warned though that unless you have a really quick graphics card with lots of CUDA cores, this is going to go really slow.

You can’t. Either create an uncompressed master, or just import the comp directly into Adobe Media Encoder and do a multipass render there.

I’m assuming it’s an interpretation error, but your picture is too small to tell. If that’s HD, click the footage in the project panel and press “Cntl+Alt+G” to open up the footage’s main interpretation panel. Change the seperate fields to “Upper Field First”(interlaced HD is always upper field first) and see if that corrects the problem.

Otherwise, we will need to know more about the footage(size, how was it shot, is it compressed…) and all your current project settings.
